Feels

Feels First steps heard In the crack of dawn  Bare feet, roaming in dew In the freshly mowed lawn Smell of coffee  Cakes and toffee  Dream box and Backyard walks Sunshine and the feeling- divine Evening falls Fair and the game stalls Let's win the big bear I'll sit back you steer Chinese takeout 🥡  Walk downtown Smiles and pout And the winning crown That little fight In twilight Your skin shines In the dusk light Paint and stories  Taxi and lorries Passing by Just like the rushing times Laughs and war In the local bar Strike and win The golden twin Messy me messy you This can be a dream too But I'm sure I'm with you We talk and felt as the wind is blew The moonlight and falling stars Deserted roads, no cars Lay down in the grass Wait until the night pass This is what I felt Feel like living in the star belt Just cool ,positives vibes Let's enjoy our lives By- Kanu Supriya Jha ...

Nature : An eternal friend

Image
Nature : An eternal friend " Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience." As patience is an enriched fruit which once eaten, remains and helps us throughout life. Nature is a beautiful healer which can only be seen in depth by our third eye. We should all spend some time with it as time spent with nature is never forgotten. It also helps us in numerous ways as it is a stress reliever for teens, adults and an ideal friend of poets. Children should spend most of their leisure time around environment as in this new era if technological advancements, kids finish up their break by playing addictive online games.  To sum up, I would like to say that life is precious and the true beauty of it lies in cherishing with an agreement of nature. ‘THE RIVER SHORE’

Image
‘THE RIVER SHORE’ On a warm December noon, Near a small zoo of Baboon; Sitting idle like loon,  Staring around, eating a prune. After a breakfast convene, Was just relaxing near a river; Understanding that the nature was not mean, The way waves deliver. Trying to play with delight, And taking shore rocks out of sight; I was slivering the sand to roughly draw, River, erasing it all with its wet claw. On an enormous rock I was looking with awe, After a while, over it sits a jacksaw; Having a glance in a second all around, Then flies and sits on a higher ground. I wonder how free they are, Then too, they have tasted all life’s sweet & sour. Just thinking about all this, Mother calls! As I was sprint walking, my sorrow was popping and leaking out of my shoes, Thinking of the one more precious chance to meet, praise and appreciate nature that I have lost. - Vaani Dixit                9th F

Bhagvat gita.2.14

Image
à¤®ात्रास्पर्शास्तु कौन्तेय शीतोष्णसुखदु: खदा: | आगमापायिनोऽनित्यास्तांस्तितिक्षस्व भारत              (Bhagvat gita.2.14) The human body houses five senses—the senses of sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing—and these, in contact with their objects of perception, give rise to sensations of happiness and distress. None of these sensations is permanent. They come and go like the changing seasons. Although cool water provides pleasure in the summer, the same water gives distress in the winter. Thus, both the perceptions of happiness and distress experienced through the senses are transitory. If we permit ourselves to be affected by them, we will sway like a pendulum from side to side. A person of discrimination should practice to tolerate both the feelings of happiness and distress without being disturbed by them. By- Anshika Sharma                         9th F    ...

Gone with the wind

Image
Gone With The Wind The slopes of giant mountain ending, opening to a small path in valley. The mesmerizing path between the flowers, where the bees and butterfly rally. The singing of waterfall, the dancing of roses, the perfect smell of cooking summer, that warm and comforting supper. How I got here? I don't know. But i know it was the wind, who wrote my destiny. A perfect story, right out of disney. The wind gushing south with brook, running like water, leaving like a blunder, left behind he smoke of tingle on skin. Open field, dancing with flowers, with satin grass just below. With the cardigan of warm air, the perfect kiss it ever blew. Lying beneath the scar of stars, the flawless piece of art, finding everything back, while the swans join the heart. Self composed... By- Kanu Supriya Jha Class- IX F

THE SWEET FREEDOM

Image
THE SWEET FREEDOM Ransacking every possibility and chance, To get freedom and independently enhance; Keeping the sense of dependency and languor in abeyance, Nevertheless how much were they advance. Inundation of people did rebel, In administration of India English did meddle. Surely they were not so trained and politically acumen, The ruling authority was indeed inhuman. Opprobrium of country English deserved, Kicking them out our heritage was preserved. Mendacious company did deceit, But their fate was not to defeat. English were now anathema to them, Priority was to remove their stem. Nation come up its time to glorify, Officially an independent country they were to certify. -Vaani Dixit  9th F

My Dream Destination

Image
My Dream Destination  A peaceful place, With chilling nights. Mountains and hills, No stress, no fights. Once I heard valleys, Calling me out. Should I go? Or let em’ shout. I assume, I have A new friend The shine of these stars, Will never end. Aren’t we too far, From our destination? Is it reality, Or just expectation? Should we go back Before it’s too late? Or work on our dreams, Never look back and wait. How do we turn this,  Into reality? By working on our dreams, Turning then to actuality. Because my dream destination, Is still an expectation. A self composed poem… By- Kaavya Narang 9th F
